Position Summary
The Marketing Manager for SmartPath (a product of SmartVault), will play a pivotal role in shaping brand identity and driving market awareness. Developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, demand, and engagement with accounting professionals – while leveraging AI-driven tools for content creation, campaign optimization, and audience targeting. Collaborate closely with SmartPath Founder, Sales, Client Success, and Product development teams to achieve company objectives and establish SmartPath as a leader in Proposal Software.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote SmartPath’s pricing software among accounting professionals.
- Design and execute demand generation campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, webinars, digital ads, etc.). Focus on driving qualified leads for our sales team.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and platforms (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, or Canva AI) to scale content production across blogs, email campaigns, social ads, landing pages, and thought leadership articles.
- Own Customer Marketing efforts for both prospects and existing customers of SmartVault. Develop nurture sequences, upsell campaigns, and retention initiatives that align with customer needs at each stage of their journey.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to align marketing efforts with company goals and product roadmap.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, partners, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility.
- Help build and nurture our growing community of accountants and pricing advocates. This includes creating thought leadership content, participating in online discussions, and amplifying customer success stories.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continuously adapting marketing strategies to evolving market dynamics.
- Drive initiatives for company and founder to build a strong LinkedIn presence.
- Work with SmartVault Marketing team to do cross collaboration – sharing of posts, webinar promotion, reposting clips from webinars, etc.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–7 years of proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the software or technology sector.
- AI Proficiency – Hands-on experience with AI-driven content tools and marketing automation platforms (Ex: ChatGPT, Jasper, Gramarly AI, Google Analytics, Jasper)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Creative + Analytical – Creative enough to craft a great story and analytical enough to measure the impact
- Self-Starter – act and set direction. Be passionate about building this brand
- This role is best suited for someone who’s scrappy, resourceful, and energized by the opportunity to build. You’ll need to operate with a strong sense of ownership—comfortable setting direction, creating structure where there isn’t any, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
